The material needed to prepare a matcha :


• Kusmi Tea organic matcha tea;

• A bowl or a mug;

• A chasen: the traditional bamboo whisk specific to matcha tea;

• A spoon or chashaku (traditional bamboo spoon);



Matcha tea, cold or iced?


The ancestral matcha tea recipe is the basis of all the following ones. You can drink cold matcha all year round. Take your drink everywhere, it will keep its boosting effect!


Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of matcha tea, simmering water, 2 spoons of honey or maple syrup (optional).

1- In a bowl, mix the matcha tea powder with simmering water, using your chasen.

2- Add honey or maple syrup and whisk again.

3- Let your drink stand for 20 minutes at room temperature or 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

4- Face the hot summer weather by adding a few ice cubes to your matcha. It will become an essential for your holidays!



Matcha latte, a must


By combining the strength of matcha with the sweetness of milk, matcha latte is a surprising drink!

Do you like plant-based milks? Treat yourself! Almond milk, soy milk, rice milk or oat milk, prepare a cold matcha latte to your taste to accompany you all day long.


Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of matcha tea, simmering water, 2 spoons of honey or maple syrup (optional).

In a bowl, mix the matcha tea powder with simmering water, using your chasen.

1- Bring the milk to a simmer in a small saucepan and add it to the mixture.

2- Add honey or maple syrup and whisk again.

3- Add the honey or agave syrup and the vanilla extract.

4- Whisk for 30 seconds to make a smooth mixture.

5- The milk adds a voluptuous touch to this recipe for a smooth experience. The bitterness of the cold matcha tea disappears, leaving only the velvety taste of the milk.

Popular with the Taiwanese, it is all the rage on social networks: bubble tea! To be drunk cold or iced, matcha bubble tea becomes fun thanks to the tapioca pearls: a new way to drink your favourite beverage!


Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of organic matcha tea, 10 cl of milk of your choice, 2 tablespoons of hot water, 2 spoons of honey, 50 g of tapioca pearls, a few ice cubes

1- Add the tapioca pearls to boiling water and cook for 15 minutes.

2- Drain the pearls and let them cool for a few minutes.

3- In a bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and the simmering water.

4- In a glass, add the matcha, honey, milk and tapioca pearls. Mix everything together.

5- Add a few ice cubes to the drink and it's ready!

6- The little tapioca beads line the bottom of the glass for an aesthetic effect. They add consistency and turn your cold matcha tea into a real tasty dessert!
