Recycle your Kusmi tin as a plant pot

Do you love plants but think your pots look a little sad? We have a solution! Whether you want to decorate your home or the office, Kusmi Tea tins offer a range of different sizes and colors to brighten any space.

Recycle your Kusmi tin as a mint pot

To recycle your Kusmi tin as a mint pot, you will need:

  • Mint seeds
  • Potting soil
  • Water
  • An empty Kusmi Tea 250g tin

STEP 1: EASY!

Fill your Kusmi Tea tin with potting soil.

STEP 2: FAST!

Add a few mint seeds on top.

STEP 3: FINISHED!

Cover with a little soil. Compress the soil, then water.

Now you just have to wait for it to grow while keeping the soil damp. To ensure the best growth, place the pot somewhere bright but away from direct sunlight.

OUR “GREEN-FINGERED TIP”

Pinch the tips of the stems to stop the plant from flowering and encourage new leaves to grow.

ADVICE FROM OUR TEAM

Prepare your plants in March to have a beautiful mint bush throughout the summer to use in your minty iced teas!

Repot your cactus in a Kusmi tin

Most cactuses are sold in plastic pots. When looking to repot yours, choose a bigger container such as a perfectly sized Kusmi tin!

For this tutorial, you will need:

  • 1 pretty cactus
  • 1 empty Kusmi Tea 125g tin
  • Water
  • Cactus potting soil

STEP 1: GENTLY DOES IT

Put some clay pellets at the bottom of the pot to help water drain out.

STEP 2: LET’S GO!

Fill the tin halfway with soil.

STEP 3: THE FINISHING TOUCH

Take your cactus and carefully place it in the pot. Fill up to the top with soil and sprinkle with water.

Your magnificent plant pot is finished! Put it wherever you want and share your photos on social media by tagging @kusmiteaparis!
