What is matcha?
Matcha is a unique powdered green tea made from carefully selected
Tencha leaves. The young shoots are shaded for 3 to 4 weeks
before harvest; deprived of light, they overproduce chlorophyll,
giving them an intense green colour. They are then finely ground
between stone mills into a delicate powder, rich in flavor and
colour! Unlike other teas, the entire leaf is consumed,
offering a rich and intense flavour experience.
