TEAS FOR HOMEMADE CHAI LATTES
Just like trendy matcha latte, at Kusmi we love chai latte, THE essential hot drink of the Indian subcontinent, known for its invigorating properties. Let us be honest: we simply had to create spiced teas for your latte preparations.
First of all, let us introduce one of our oldest spiced black tea recipes: our Kashmir Tchaï. As its name suggests, Kashmir Tchaï is a chai black tea, enhanced by an incredible blend of spices: cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. This black tea is therefore PERFECT for mixing with your milk and milk foam.
For the most committed among you, we recommend our Tchaï of the Tiger, an organic spiced black tea created in collaboration with WWF. For every tin of loose-leaf tea purchased, €1 will be donated to the Tx2 project launched in 2010 by WWF, which aims to protect wild tigers. Very peppery and made with ginger, cardamom and cinnamon, this spiced black tea is sure to appeal to those who enjoy a little heat.
Fancy varying the pleasures? Chai latte can just as easily be made with the iconic Prince Vladimir, a black tea with citrus and vanilla notes. Chai Latte recipe
Our Chai Latte recipe is very simple. Simply infuse two spoonfuls of your spiced tea in a teapot for 5 minutes. Once the infusion is ready, pour the desired amount into a cup, leaving room for milk. Add a touch of honey or agave syrup to taste. Finally, whisk your milk until it is beautifully creamy and pour it into your chai tea. And since there can never be enough spices for lovers of cinnamon, sprinkle your cup with cinnamon or another spice of your choice. Then enjoy your chai latte. We promise it will warm your hands and heart perfectly this winter.
