Can you give herbal tea or an infusion to a baby or child?
Yes! Provided it is suitable and certain conditions are respected. Not all plants are recommended. To find out which herbal teas are authorised, ask your healthcare professional for advice.
For mothers who are breastfeeding, be aware that the effects of plants are found in breast milk. This is why not all of them are authorised. A beneficial herbal tea will therefore also benefit the baby.
