That's why we've come up with yet another innovation to deliver these benefits enjoyably. Thanks to a unique avant-garde process, our organic mate leaves are enriched with acerola extract containing just the right dose of vitamin C, known to support the immune system [1] [2] [3].

Immune Defense Ritual is effective from the very first cup, and if you want to be totally reboosted, with 3 cups a day it even provides 100% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C!

Because it's good for the planet, it can be purchased as loose tea or in convenient on-the-go teabags.

The info you need

Not synthesized by the human body, vitamin C is essential for the body to function properly. It must therefore be provided through a varied and balanced diet. By taking your Immune Defense Ritual on a regular basis, you give your body the opportunity to better resist external threats.
 
The effects of vitamin C on the body's natural defenses have been validated by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) [5].

Numerous scientific studies show that vitamin C stimulates the migration of white blood cells to the site of infection, improving the process of virus destruction as well as microbial destruction [2] [6] [7] [8].

A clinical study of 28 subjects showed that vitamin C intake led to a 59% reduction in the duration of cold episodes [9]. An epidemiological study, this time carried out on 120 people, concluded that immunity is positively affected by the consumption of foods naturally rich in vitamin C [10].

To ensure the quality of our acerola extract, we called on the services of a laboratory specializing in plant analysis and headed by a pharmacist with expertise in pharmacology. Acerola, also known as West Indian cherry, is a tropical fruit native to the Caribbean islands. For thousands of years, the indigenous peoples of the Amazon region have consumed it for its beneficial effects on the body. These little red berries are characterized by their tangy taste and are a natural source of vitamin C. Their vitamin C content can be 30 to 40 times higher than oranges!

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is an essential nutrient for the proper functioning of the body. It has a protective role and multiple effects.
