Born in 2007, Detox is the very first detox tea to hit the market. The Kusmi tea house is inaugurating its well-being range with this lemon and lemongrass mixture: the first born of the eponymous siblings, it and its green box have become essential.

The desire for innovation, at the heart of the Kusmi DNA, allows Kusmi to launch the very first detox tea on the market with a recipe that will become synonymous with both serenity and vitality for many. A simple composition, but an elaborate recipe: a harmony between different ingredients, ranging from well-being plants to natural aromas.
The basis of detox blends at Kusmi: green tea and mate
Like all of the house's well-being recipes, the Detox blend is based around an organic Chinese green tea and organic Brazilian mate tea base. Since 2020, Kusmi has chosen organic across our entire production chain: plants, fruits, spices... all ingredients come from organic farming, certified by strict specifications, which have earned us Ecocert certification and the AB label.
Mate, better known as yerba mate, is a shrub from the holly family, from which an infusion of the leaves is consumed. This native plant, which only grows in Latin America, has become increasingly popular in recent years. It is renowned for being concentrated in minerals and vitamins which strengthen our immune defenses and stimulate our metabolism: what could be better for a detox tea?
Lemon, lemongrass and rose hip: ingredients that give pep
To this base is added a touch of lemon and lemongrass. Also called “Indian verbena”, this herbaceous plant, well known in Asia for its digestive and diuretic properties, energizes this mixture thanks to its powerful fragrance.
We also find rose hip seeds, the red-orange fruit of the rosehip which completes the whole thing with a tangy sweetness.
