Recipe: Frozen cheesecake with Kusmi Tea AquaFrutti organic infusion

Make summer a time of indulgence with a touch of organic herbal tea!    

Try our original frozen Cheesecake recipe made with AquaFrutti syrup, our new organic infusion with super-ingredients. A hibiscus base embellished with pomegranate and Goji berries, just one cup of this organic theine-free super herbal tea and you will always start the day on the right foot!  

Licking your lips already?  Wait until you taste it, it will explode in your mouth!  

Preparation time?  Half an hour of easy and fun culinary creation!  

You will have to leave it for a night before embarking on the taste journey... They say that all things come to those who wait!  

 

 

 

Ingredients for the frozen cheesecake:

 

- 200g of shortbread biscuit (LU for example) 

- 60g of melted salted butter 

- 200g of cream cheese to spread 

- 200g of liquid whole cream 

- 200g of Greek yoghurt 

- 35g of AquaFrutti syrup (more details below)  

- 50g white chocolate 

- 1 vanilla pod 

- A mixture of red fruits to serve (strawberries / blueberries / raspberries) 

 

Ingredients for the syrup made from our organic Aquafrutti infusion:

 

- 250g of water 

- 250g of sugar 

- 25g of Kusmi Tea AquaFrutti organic infusion 

 

 

1/ To prepare the syrup: 

 

Start by mixing the water and the infusion. Let everything steep for a few minutes. Then mix the infusion with the sugar, and heat over a low heat for 30 minutes.

Filter, allow to cool. And put to one side!

2/ Now we start with the frozen Cheesecake: 

 

Mix the biscuits with the melted butter. Pack them well in the bottom of your springform pan (18cm) and place in the fridge

Melt the white chocolate in a bain marie. Spread over your biscuit base. Place in the fridge again to cool with the pan.

Mix the cream cheese with the cream, the Greek yoghurt, the syrup and the seeds of the grated vanilla pod in the bowl of your food processor, if you have one, otherwise by hand at full speed for 10 minutes. The final texture should resemble that of whipped cream. Pour into your springform pan, smooth the surface then place in the freezer for at least one night. 

That's it, now it’s time to serve and enjoy the feast!   Take the cheesecake out 10 minutes before tasting. Arrange the red fruits on top and sprinkle with a tablespoon of the AquaFrutti syrup.
