Nepalese black tea

A prestigious, organic unflavored black tea with notes of fresh almonds straight from Nepal. 

Set off on a unique trek! After brewing for a few minutes, you begin your climb. The destination is the Guranse tea garden, one of the highest plantations in the world!


Located at almost 6,000 feet of elevation in the Dhankuta district, this little slice of paradise is the home of our organic Nepalese black tea. The lush green hills and ideal conditions of shade, rain, and sun combine to offer the perfect setting to this plantation in the heart of the Himalayas.


Both sweet and round, this prestigious, organic unflavored tea is a blend of finely rolled leaves and buds that sometimes take on a silver sheen. Its earthy notes shift into flavors of fresh almonds with every sip – quite the surprise!

The “Guranse” plantation did not get its name by chance! It is a reference to the national flower of Nepal, also known as a… rhododendron!

3.5 oz refill bag 5/6/23 I got this on a whim a few months ago. Such a smooth unassuming black tea. It's not too heavy or light. I'm hesitant to call it perfect, but this is my third refill. Each refill I get an extra bag. Wonderful treat of a tea, good anytime of the day.
