Step 1 : Find out about Kusmi Tea products: product search
To find out about Kusmi Tea products, just let us guide you through!There are 3 options available at all times, on all the pages (column on the right):
1/ do a catalogue search by category of product, using the dropdown list
(selecting families and sub-families)

2/ do a search by criteria:
- For teas and herbal teas: flavour, type, country, time of day, health benefit, caffeine.

3/ keyword search using specific field
Syntactically, the keyword search engine (Mysql engine) accepts one or more words separated by spaces (255 characters maximum).
- Non-relevant words are not taken into account (words of less than 4 characters and words found in too high a % of files). For example: if the word tea is present in all the details, it is not regarded as relevant.
- the search engine is not accent or case sensitive (upper/lower case).
- the engine does not handle French language variations (singular/plural search, verb conjugations, spelling corrections, etc).

Step 2 : Display the products in the store
The products are displayed in the central area of the site in the form of a list showing 6 products per page. Details of the first two products are displayed by default. To view the other 4, you just use the central scrollbar to move down towards the sixth which is the last on the page.
If your search produces more than 6 products, you can view the further products by clicking on the forward and back arrows or the page numbers displayed at the bottom of the page.
To find out more about a product, click on its picture or on the “product details” link to display the full details.

Step 3 : Add the products to your basket
Check that the product is available before ordering.
If the product is available, you can select the form of packaging and the quantity you want, then click on the ADD TO BASKET button.

Step 4 : Complete your order and check your basket
1/ You can carry on shopping and add as many products as you like to your basket, by doing several successive searches.
To complete your order and view your basket to check your purchases, just click on the COMPLETE YOUR ORDER button

2/ Your basket summarises all the products you have chosen. This is where you can check your order, delete products, change the quantities if you want to, and finalise your order.

Shipping charges:
 
The shipping charges are calculated automatically, based on the gross weight of the products ordered and the destination country, which you need to select from the dropdown list

IMPORTANT: The Kusmitea e-store sells and sends your orders only to the countries on this list. If you live in another country, Kusmitea can’t deliver to you. Therefore you won’t be able to confirm your order if you don’t live in one of the countries listed.
If this is the case, click on the “Contact the network” link which will tell you your nearest Kusmi Tea stockist.

Discounts:
The quantitative discount is worked out automatically, based on the quantities ordered from the list shown.
If you are able to take advantage of a special discount, enter the promotional code (or Advantage code) in the box provided for this purpose and the offer will be automatically reflected in the total.

Once you have checked the contents and the cost of your order, click on the COMPLETE YOUR ORDER button.

Step 5 : Identify yourself !
If you are a new customer, we invite you to set up your own customer account: choose your login (your e-mail address) and your password, give your billing and delivery addresses, then confirm. You can then access your account and your shopping basket.
If you already have an account, enter your login plus your password and confirm. You can then access your account, change your details (billing and delivery addresses), manage your newsletter subscription and track your current orders (3-month history).
A page displaying your details (amended or newly set up) appears to enable you to check them before proceeding to the payment stage.

Step 6 : Choose how you want to pay
Specify which credit card you want to use to pay for your purchases. .
For further details on methods of payment, click here.
If you want your purchase to be a gift, check the box provided for this purpose. Don’t forget to enter your own address for the “billing address” and the address of the person to whom you want to send the gift for the “delivery address” (if it is different from the first).
Click on “Next step” to proceed to the CYBERPLUS secure payment system from Banque Populaire.

Step 7 : Proceed to payment and submit your order
Once the fields in the payment form have been filled in and checked, click on the confirm button.
The service will tell you when the payment has gone through and a few minutes later you will automatically receive an “order acknowledgement” sent to the e-mail address registered for your customer account.

How do I set up an account?
In order to place orders on line, you will need to have a customer account. This customer account is protected. To set one up on the website, proceed as follows:
- Click on the “our store/customer account” menu or on the “customer account” link on the top right of the home page
- Carefully fill in the required fields, making sure you give your personal login (e-mail address) and choose your password
- Finally check your data and click on “confirm”. You will receive an e-mail confirming that your account has been set up.

Can I change my login and password?
You can change your password directly from the “our store/customer account” menu, but you can’t change your identifier. If you need to do this because you have changed your e-mail address, contact us so that we can make this amendment.

What should I do if I’ve forgotten my identification codes?
Have you perhaps forgotten your password? If so, click on “Forgotten your password? Click here”, enter your login (e-mail address for your account).
You will immediately receive an e-mail informing you of your password. Then we recommend that you change it in your account, and choose a new, more personal password that you will find it easier to remember.
If you have lost your identifier, contact us stating your surname, forename and customer number (written on your bill) if you have one.

How will the delivery be made?
For our deliveries, we mainly use the "colissimo" type signed-for parcel, 48 h over working days, in France and the "colissimo" international service.

How much will the delivery cost?
Our delivery charges are shown in the on-line store once you have identified yourself and displayed your basket. These charges are calculated on the basis of the destination country you have chosen and the gross weight of the order.

Can I choose the place of delivery?
If you want something delivered to your office, a friend’s house, your holiday home, or if you want to send a gift, you can change/create a new delivery address in your customer account.

Is the payment transaction secure?
When you make your credit card payment in our on-line store, your confidential information (customer identity and card number) are encrypted using the most effective protocols. It never circulates openly over the internet or even within Kusmi Tea’s accounts department which does not have access to it.
Your credit card number is sent directly to the banking operator via the CYBERPLUS secure payment system from Banque Populaire.

What should I do if I don’t receive an acknowledgement of my order?
Within a few hours of placing your order you will receive an e-mail acknowledging that your order has been registered. If you don’t receive anything, go to the OUR STORE/MY CUSTOMER ACCOUNT section of the website and click on the “Track my order” button.

What happens if a product isn’t available?
In spite of all the care we take over processing your orders, it may be that one or more products are unavailable when your parcel is made up. If this happens, the Kusmi Tea operator will get in touch with you to see whether to postpone delivery of the whole order, or send a parcel containing the products that are available.

Can I track the progress of my order?
In the “track orders” section of your customer account, you can find out how far the processing of your order has got by clicking on “details”. On the day when you order is dispatched, you are sent an e-mail to tell you what day your parcel left, along with the reference number and the website address for tracking its progress

What happens if I’m absent at the time of delivery?
If you are absent at the time of delivery, a delivery notification will be left in your letter box by the postal service. You generally have up to 10 days to collect your parcel from the sorting office indicated, where you will be asked to show proof of identity and sign for the parcel.

What should I do if I have a problem with an item?
If you have a problem with something (item missing, item defective, not what you ordered), check our General terms of sale to find out the options and procedures for sending a return or a complaint..

What should I do if I don’t receive my parcel?
If you fail to receive your parcel, you should contact your sorting office to check whether the parcel is waiting to be delivered. If necessary, notify Kusmi Tea that the parcel is overdue and an enquiry will be launched.

I can’t seem to place an order or my item isn’t displayed in my basket. What should I do?
If your internet browser settings are too strict, this can prevent your order from functioning properly (especially the management of your basket). Here are the settings to use, depending on your browser:
