Gyokuro is one of the most precious teas in the world.
It comes from the Uji region in Japan and is cultivated in limited quantity.
Three weeks before the harvest, tea trees are covered with a sheet to shelter them from light; this gives the tea a particular color, an uncomparable color and an extreme delicate taste.
Gyokuro means “pearl of dew” in Japanese.
